Unilever is seeking a Process Engineer at Leeds Factory to own line performance analytics, line settings, and changeovers. The role focuses on reducing process variability, improving line KPIs, and building operator capability through coaching and hands-on problem solving.

The engineer will lead SMED workshops, support 90-day and monthly plans, and collaborate with the cell team to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG factory environment is desirable.
• Experience in centerlining / settings optimisation and control in line with machine performance.
• Understanding FI and Quality tools and processes.
• Some experience in statistics & process control tools.

Responsabilités

• Owns stops and performance data analytics for the line; provides stops, MTBS, OEE data for meetings and supports line workflows and problem solving sessions.
• Continuously drives development of performance analytics tools.
• Owns the line settings process: deployment, execution, reporting KPIs for meetings and continuous improvement.
• Owns the changeover process: deployment, execution, reporting KPIs for meetings and continuous improvement.
• Leads SMED workshops to improve the changeover process.
• Owns the problem-solving process for the line and provides SME support to the line team and operators.
• Supports building technical capability in operators; coaches operators on processes.
• Supports development and execution of 90-day, weekly and monthly plans; leads problem solving sessions.
