Job summary

Trelleborg Marine & Infrastructure is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to design, analyze and optimize production processes in a mass manufacturing environment. You will drive efficiency, reduce waste and ensure consistent product quality across operations.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will implement ME projects, develop SOPs, and collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, R&D and Production teams to deliver continuous improvements and robust process control.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a process engineering role within mass manufacturing or industrial production
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, automation and process control
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar methodologies (certification is a plus)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs and maintain high quality standards
• Develop and implement process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, R&D, and Production to support operational goals
• Create and maintain process documentation such as SOPs, work instructions and process flow diagrams
• Monitor and analyze production data and KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Support the introduction of new products and technologies into the manufacturing process
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement CAPA
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Train production staff on new processes and equipment
