Job summary

Sibelco in Talke, United Kingdom is seeking a Process Engineer to drive greenfield and brownfield projects from concept to ramp-up, delivering safe and sustainable mineral processing solutions.

You will work with engineering, operations, safety, procurement and external partners to optimize processes via trials, simulations, and data analysis, improving efficiency, safety and cost performance across sites. The role requires a 5+ year track record and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mineral Processing, Chemistry, Geology, or related field.
• At least 5 years' industrial experience in mining or minerals processing.
• Strong analytical, proactive, and solution-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Driving Process Engineering projects from initial concept through planning, execution, commissioning, and ramp-up.
• Developing and optimizing mineral and material processes through trials, simulations, flow sheets, troubleshooting, and technical analysis.
• Supporting production sites with technical expertise to identify opportunities for improvements and debottlenecking.
• Conducting process audits, analyzing production and quality data, and delivering clear recommendations.
• Collaborating with internal and external partners while ensuring safety and quality standards.
