Sheffield is our biggest candy confectionery site in Europe, producing iconic brands like Allsorts, Jelly Babies, Maynards Bassetts, Trebor Mints, and Ritz Crisp & Thin. Founded in 1842, our Sheffield site makes approximately 40,000 tonnes of sweets annually. We are seeking a Process Engineer with a Mechanical focus to join our manufacturing operations across different plant areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Solve complex technical problems and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate across teams to innovate and address large-scale challenges.
• Identify issues in products or processes and propose solutions.
• Work with the Engineering Manager on training, hiring, and supporting engineering staff.
• Lead and coach line teams to ensure process reliability and stability.
• Understand process variability, define systems to eliminate it, and monitor critical parameters.
• Provide technical validation for process or equipment projects.
• Gather and analyze process data to identify capability issues and prioritize improvements.
• Use FI systems to enhance operator and technician capabilities through training.
• Develop skills and ensure high technical competence within the team.
