As the Process Engineer, you will master Production Technology and Maintenance techniques, being responsible for loss investigation and resolution (Breakdown, Waste, Speed). If you thrive in a fast-paced, highly technical manufacturing environment and are involved in producing millions of lifesaving medical devices annually, BD's state-of-the-art technology—including packaging robots, vision inspection systems, UV curing, liquid dispensing, and PLC/HMI technology—makes it an ideal place for you. We are seeking talented individuals to ensure our products continue to advance health worldwide.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct 4-block updates on focus lines.
  • Generate initiatives to return lines to LSA.
  • Create daily bottleneck and KPI action plans.
  • Guide shift teams using data analysis from MES, PAB, and VOA.
  • Drive center lining activities for sustained performance.
  • Implement poke-yoke solutions and improvements.
  • Improve quality to reduce TQN and QN in line with metrics.
  • Drive safety initiatives and improvements.
  • Identify waste reduction opportunities and ensure completion.
  • Attend meetings to report engineering status and resource planning.
  • Resolve recurring loss issues through systematic problem-solving.
  • Support continuous improvement projects and validations.
  • Enhance maintenance standards based on problem-solving outcomes.
  • Coach on continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
  • Support equipment breakdowns as needed.
About You
  • HNC or degree in Engineering/Mechatronics or related field.
  • Over 5 years of technical or manufacturing experience, especially with high-speed automated equipment.
  • Experience in a busy manufacturing environment.
  • Team-oriented with effective team-building skills.
  • Independent thinker with quick decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of safety and ergonomics in manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of Quality Systems.
  • PLC experience is preferred but not essential.
