Russell Taylor Group is seeking two Process Engineers for an established manufacturing business in Ellesmere Port. The roles cover process development, production support, stock control, and continuous improvement to boost efficiency, quality, and safety.

You should hold a degree in metallurgy/materials science/chemistry or related engineering, with manufacturing experience and a good grasp of documentation and problem solving. Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Chemistry or related engineering field.
• Experience in a manufacturing or process-driven environment.
• Knowledge of process improvement and technical documentation.
• Six Sigma knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support intro of new products and evaluate raw materials.
• Develop and maintain product specs, process docs, and SOPs.
• Investigate production issues, run trials, and support scale-up.
• Drive Lean initiatives, audits, and KPI reporting for continuous improvement.
• Support production planning with material allocation and stock control.
• Prepare production reports and shipping documentation.
• Contribute to quality, health and safety, and environmental compliance.

Process Engineer

Competitive salary depending on experience plus Private Medical, Bonus and possible Relocation package where needed on a case-by-case basis.

We're looking for two Process Engineers to join an established manufacturing business in Ellesmere Port. These are varied roles combining process development, production support, stock control and continuous improvement, helping to improve operational efficiency, product quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the introduction of new products and the evaluation of raw materials.
• Develop and maintain product specifications, process documentation and operating procedures.
• Investigate production issues, conduct trials and support process development and scale-up activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean programmes, operational audits and KPI reporting.
• Support production planning through accurate material allocation, stock control and reporting.
• Prepare production reports and shipping documentation.
• Contribute to quality, health and safety, and environmental compliance.

About You

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Chemistry or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience in a manufacturing or process-driven environment.
• An understanding of process improvement, production systems and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Six Sigma knowledge or qualifications would be advantageous.
