TES are an award-winning environmental engineering company specialising in Water Treatment and Power Distribution solutions. Due to the continued growth and expansion of the company TES have an opportunity for a Process Engineer to join our team. Job Title: Process Engineer Reporting to: Group Bid Manager Business / Division: Operations Location: Cookstown, Headquarters Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Negotiable Key Responsibilities Correctly identify the specific needs of the customer and select appropriate technologies; Prepare the design criteria according to the requirements; Prepare the proposal defining the treatment chain; Prepare the treatment chain cost, both for direct and indirect (soft) costs; Once a purchase order has been received, assist the project execution team; Establish the characteristics, specifications and performance of water treatment equipment for your sector of activities; Propose implementation methods and construction steps for a project and work with pertinent specialists; Participate in establishing the costs and technical documents pertinent to the project; Supervise the preparation of designs and customer support documents; Cooperate with the Sales Department as a technical specialist in order to establish quality solutions for our customers; Work in close collaboration with the bid team and provide occasional support to the design team. Participate to the technological transfer of various established or emerging technologies particularly in the strategic sector of waste water and industrial water treatment. Collaborate in the establishment of efficient estimation methods; Standardize the range of equipment while simplifying selection methods, characteristics and product designs; Follow deadlines and allotted budgets; Cooperate with other departments (Execution, Technical Support, etc.); Keep a technical watch over their sector of specialisation; Suggest research and development possibilities for their area of activity. Essential Criteria: Minimum of five years experience in the water treatment sector or experience in a connected sector; Bachelor's Degree in chemical, civil or mechanical engineering or in chemistry; Master's Degree in water treatment or equivalent an asset; Has a general mastery of water treatment procedures or pertinent experience; Good knowledge of water chemistry; Experience in a manufacturing or engineering firm an asset; Must be able to meet deadlines and costs; Self-sufficient, responsible, organised; Result oriented; Focuses on technical problem resolution; Work within a multi-disciplinary team; Strong communication skills.
