Process Development Technologist

Are you passionate about food and fascinated by how ideas become products on supermarket shelves? We're looking for a Process Development Technologist to join our dynamic and fast-paced development team, helping to bring new and improved products to life from kitchen concept to full-scale factory production.

In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in delivering new product development (NPD), existing product development (EPD), and continuous improvement projects. You’ll work across departments—development, production, technical, and planning—to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality product launches.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and support factory trials, scaling up recipes from kitchen to full production
• Collect and analyse trial data to ensure product quality, performance, and compliance
• Liaise with key teams to plan, execute, and launch new products in line with cost, quality, and timeline targets
• Own and maintain critical documentation to audit-ready standards, including trial reports, process flows, and specifications
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies, cost savings, and innovation opportunities
• Support post-launch reviews, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to long-term process development strategies

What we’re looking for:

• A passion for food and a genuine interest in how products are made
• A food-related degree or experience in an FMCG/food manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential)
• Strong organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills
• A hands-on, flexible attitude and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
• Willingness to support occasional night/weekend trials and travel to other sites when needed
