What You'll Do

As a Development Technologist, you'll be at the heart of our team. Your role will include:

  • Working on current innovation and strategy workstreams through liaison with the chefs, new product development team and the rest of the business
  • Leading the new product development meetings and feasibilities, preparing handovers for relevant categories
  • Ensuring that all products have been costed and deliver target margins and are approved internally prior to presentation to customer
  • Supporting the process development team by making sure that projects follow the Gate process and match the concept signed off by the customer/business
  • Understanding the customer in terms of their new product development strategies, procedures and structures

Your work as a Development Technologist will help us bring joy to our customers with exceptional food.

What you will need

There is a right role for everyone and we want to set you up for success. For the Development Technologist role we are looking for the following key skills and experience for this position:

  • Degree or Equivalent in Food Science is desirable
  • Work experience within a relevant field
  • Project Management experience
  • Good basic culinary knowledge and able to keep up to date with market trends
  • Strong computer based skills in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems
