Join Our Team as a Process Development Scientist at TieTalent

SRG is seeking a chemist or biochemist to join the development team within a growing and successful contract manufacturing company located in the Central Belt of Scotland.

About the Role

• Plan and execute experiments and analyses to facilitate effective technology transfer and process development aligned with customer needs.
• Record and interpret data in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Communicate with clients and collaborate with other teams.
• Follow laboratory procedures to ensure safety, quality, and effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot scaled-up processes and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Higher degree or degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry with relevant industry experience.
• Experience in drug development is desirable but not essential.
• Background in process development, protein structure and function, and protein purification techniques such as Tangential Flow Filtration, AKTA, Chromatography, or Filtration.
• Knowledge of protein analytical techniques like UV/VIS and HPLC.
• Candidates with high academic achievement, including graduates, PhDs, or postdocs with relevant knowledge, will also be considered.
