Job summary

Huntsman is seeking a Process Development Manager for its Duxford site. The role leads lab-to-commercial development, driving scale-up, technology transfer, and robust manufacturing processes across R&T, Operations and sites. You will manage a team of engineers and chemists, delivering safe, efficient and scalable productions.

The position emphasizes leadership, project execution, and strategic input to site growth with a strong focus on EHS, quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• University degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• At least 5 years in Development and/or Manufacturing with strong scale-up knowledge.
• Experience leading technical or scientific professionals and coaching others.
• Experience taking products or processes through scale-up from development to industrial manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of process development and thermoset chemistries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Process Development team at Duxford.
• Industrialise and scale-up new products and formulations to robust manufacturing processes.
• Own the Process Development lifecycle from lab to commercial production.
• Lead the pilot plant and support both new products and existing manufacturing.
• Drive technology transfers from R&T into manufacturing and across Huntsman sites.
• Tackle technical issues and provide Process Development expertise to Operations.
• Drive continuous improvement in process capability, quality, capacity and cost.
• Conduct feasibility studies and techno-economic evaluations to support decisions.
• Manage priorities, resources, budget and KPIs for Process Development.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, Process Safety, Quality and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with R&T, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Procurement and other sites.
