Job summary

Huntsman is seeking a Process Safety Engineer to join our Advanced Materials business at Duxford. You will help strengthen process safety across the site, conduct hazard studies for new equipment, and balance a varied workload across assessments, procedures, and projects.

You will report to the Process Safety and Engineering Manager and collaborate with the Process Safety Centre of Excellence to implement best practices. A Master’s degree is advantageous, and two years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer qualifications required.
• Two years of relevant process safety experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Process Safety Management systems and their implementation is valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support process safety activities across the Duxford site.
• Contribute to a sustainable process safety culture with EHS and PSM teams.
• Maintain Process Safety Standards, Procedures and Guidelines.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard studies for new equipment.
• Participate in incident investigations through root cause analysis.
• Support commissioning of engineering projects and implement best practices.
