Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Process Development Engineer / Senior Technologist for a rapidly growing manufacturer in Bridgwater, Somerset. You will oversee taking new products from concept through to full-scale production, ensuring safe, efficient and scalable processes for commercial manufacture.

You will bridge R&D and Operations, drive process improvements, pilot trials and scale-up projects, and play a key role in product development.

Qualifications

• Process/Manufacturing engineer with experience in textiles, polymers, fibres or similar manufacturing.
• Experience in product scale-up, pilot trials or process optimisation.
• Willing to relocate to Bridgwater or commutable.

Process Development Engineer / Senior Technologist

Are you a Process/Manufacturing Engineer, from a textiles, polymers, fibres or a similar manufacturing environment, looking to join a rapidly growing specialist manufacturer, where you will play a key role in taking innovative products from development through to full-scale commercial production?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a multi-million-pound organisation that has invested heavily into the business in recent years, where you will oversee taking new products from concept through to production, whilst having the chance to progress into more senior roles.

The company are leaders in their industry and are going from strength to strength, with ambitious plans to double in size over the next five years. Due to their continued success and ongoing investment, they are now looking to add to their close-knit technical team.

In this varied role, you will act as the technical bridge between the R&D and Operations teams, supporting new product development, pilot trials and scale-up projects. You will develop manufacturing processes, define critical process parameters, and ensure new products can be manufactured safely, efficiently and consistently at commercial scale.

This role would suit an experienced Process or Manufacturing Engineer, ideally with experience within textiles, polymers, fibres or a similar manufacturing environment, looking to play a key role in product development and scale-up within a growing and innovative company.

The Role:

• Support new product development, pilot trials and product scale-up
• Drive continuous improvement and manufacturing efficiency
• Monday to Friday (Relocation package included with the role)

The Person:

• Experience in product scale-up, plant trials or process optimisation
• Manufacturing background, ideally within textiles or polymers
• Commutable to Bridgwater, or open to relocation
