Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Process Engineer for a site-based role in Staplehurst, Kent. The position offers £40,000 - £45,000 plus Bonus, Training & Development and progression opportunities within a well-established manufacturing business.

You will optimise manufacturing processes, support continuous improvement, and help introduce new products and process changes, while working closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to resolve day-to-day issues.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial engineering, or time-served equivalent.
• Hands-on shopfloor experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Optimise and improve manufacturing processes across the production facility.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance quality, efficiency and repeatability.
• Assist with introducing new products and process changes into production.
• Help implement improvements to SOPs, work instructions and routings.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to solve day-to-day process issues.

Are you a Process Engineer from a manufacturing background, looking to join a specialist, well-established engineering business offering structured training and clear long-term progression?

On offer is a key role where you'll help drive process optimisation and continuous improvement across a modern production environment, supporting both ongoing manufacturing and the introduction of new products and process changes. You'll have strong visibility across the operation and the opportunity to influence how the site performs as the company continues to expand.

The Role

• Assist with introducing new products and process changes into production.
• Help implement improvements to documentation such as SOPs, work instructions and routings.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to solve day-to-day process issues.

The Person

• Process Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Production Engineer (or similar).
• Manufacturing background (hands-on / shopfloor-facing).
• Degree qualified (Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial) or time-served equivalent.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; proactive improvement mindset.
• Looking for a long-term, permanent role with development and progression.
