Tata Steel UK Limited in Port Talbot is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to join the Hot Rolled Products team. You will provide engineering support to optimise production and act as first point of contact to ensure continued output of the hot mill.
The role requires PLC fault diagnosis, instrumentation and control systems knowledge, and a solid understanding of DC/AC drives and motors. Applicants should hold an NVQ Level 3 Electrical and be prepared to work overtime when needed.

Hot Rolled Products Port Talbot is the UK’s leading supplier of Hot rolled coil, with up to 83,000 Tonnes of slab a week, processed to various thickness and grades for hundreds of different customers all over the world. Steel slab is reduced to coil and either sent direct to customers or for downstream processing through a highly complex and high speed rolling mill.
You will be working within the Hot Rolled Products area, providing a complete range of Engineering activities to optimise production in the area.
As part of the team, you become a key member of Tata Steel, operating as the first point of contact to ensure the continued output of the Hot Mill.
