Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is seeking a Process Architect for a 12-month contract in Birmingham with hybrid working. The role focuses on defining facility layouts for production, clean suites, containment areas, and site master plans within food, chemical, or pharmaceutical sectors.

You will work with process, mechanical and architectural teams to translate operational requirements into practical designs, from feasibility through to detailed design, with a daily rate of £55 per hour and outside IR35

Qualifications

• Experience as a Process Architect or similar in facility layout.
• Strong understanding of material and people flow in production environments.
• Experience in food, chemical, or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Ability to develop site master plans and concept studies.

Where will you be doing it?

You’ll be joining an engineering business delivering facility design projects across the food, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. Their teams work on everything from early concept studies through to detailed design, covering production facilities as well as specialist clean and containment environments.

What you'll need

• Experience as a Process Architect, or in a similar role defining facility layout and operation
• A strong understanding of material and people flow within production environments
• Experience across food, chemical, industrial or pharmaceutical sectors
• Ability to develop site masterplans and concept studies
• Knowledge of GMP or similarly regulated design environments (desirable)
• Strong communication skills, and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
