Job summary

The Ministry of Justice is recruiting Programme Facilitators for the Probation Service. You will deliver accredited programmes and structured interventions to individuals on community orders or on licence after release, including those who have offended in domestic or sexual abuse contexts.

The role is regionally based with travel required and substantial evening work to fit programme schedules. You will contribute to reducing re-offending, protecting the public and helping individuals build

Qualifications

• Delivery of rehabilitation interventions to reduce re-offending.
• Ability to manage group dynamics and adapt to learner needs.
• Willingness to work evenings and travel regionally as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group and one-to-one sessions to probation clients.
• Monitor progress, risk and wellbeing throughout the intervention.
• Keep accurate records and share insights with relevant teams.
• Work with courts and criminal justice agencies to support sentence management.
• Provide workshops and briefings to probation staff and external stakeholders.
• Use pro-social modelling to reinforce positive behaviours.
