Job summary

The Ministry of Justice in Derby, Nottingham is seeking Approved Premises Residential Workers to provide 24-hour cover, security and monitoring within an Approved Premises, working directly with people on probation.

This Civil Service role offers a competitive salary £28,064 - £33,549, excellent training and career development, plus opportunities for overtime and flexible shift patterns. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Ability to work across flexible shift patterns including nights.

• Capability to undertake regular building inspections and monitor CCTV.
• Right to work in the UK or visa sponsorship eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour cover, security and monitoring within an Approved Premises.
• Work with people on probation to support risk management and sentence plans.
• Ensure safety and security of residents and the premises.
• Enforce Approved Premises rules and licence conditions, including out-of-hours work.
• Take part in weekend shifts and overtime where available.
