Probation Caseworker

Salary: £23,700 per annum

Hours: 35 hours a week

Location: Cardiff / South Wales

About the Role

Brook Street Social Care is partnering with a renowned charity dedicated to social justice, employing expertise and lived experiences to empower individuals and provide essential support. As a Probation Caseworker, you will engage with individuals referred by probation officers to offer advice, guidance, and assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide holistic, person-centred support addressing issues such as poverty, exploitation, abuse, addiction, mental health, and involvement in crime.
  2. Assess individual needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
  3. Collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure comprehensive support.
  4. Maintain accurate case records and documentation.
  5. Participate in out-of-hours support services as required.
  6. Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Additional Information

This role is primarily office-based with some flexibility for home working and face-to-face meetings with clients.
