Job description

Probate Solicitor NQ - 3 PQE - Salisbury

Fantastic new opportunity to join a Legal 500 and Chambers rated firm with a superb work/life balance.

Our client is looking for a passionate Probate Solicitor, looking to take the next step in their career with one of the leading law firms within Wiltshire. This firm is one of the most well established and highly regarded in the area and will offer you the development and progression you are looking for at this stage in your career.

A junior lawyer looking for a new opportunity specialising in probate would be hard placed to find a more attractive opening.

You will be a team player as you will work very closely with the other members of the Probate team. This position primarily entails working on behalf of charities involving complex grant applications and administering large and complex taxable estates including large farms and landed estates; some of which have international aspects. Responsibilities include applying business and agricultural property reliefs, calculating inheritance tax for exempt and non-exempt beneficiaries, and managing estate administrations for national charities.

You will either currently be a member of STEP or be willing to work towards achieving the same. Excellent communication and IT skills are essential.

Applications are welcome from those newly qualified to 3 PQE.

This role will provide you with a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package. The firm is able to preserve a close-knit culture, while punching well above its weight, competing with larger firms.
