Probate Lawyer (JAV146971) Birmingham, England

Salary: GBP60000 - GBP80000 per annum

We are seeking a practical and empathetic Solicitor to join a dynamic Dispute Resolution team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in contested probate and Court of Protection matters, managing their own caseload while advising on a wide range of contentious probate issues.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage a diverse caseload across contested probate and Court of Protection matters.
2. Advise beneficiaries, executors, trustees, claimants, and defendants in court proceedings related to disputed wills, probate, or trusts.
3. Interact directly with clients, providing empathetic yet persuasive communication to ensure excellent client care.
4. Ensure compliance with SRA, Lexcel, Law Society Quality Scheme standards, SARs, and accounting requirements.
5. Contribute to business development opportunities.
6. Have at least 2 years’ experience managing your own caseload in contested probate matters, from inception to completion.
7. Possess working knowledge of Court of Protection matters and proceedings under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996.
8. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering outstanding client service.
9. Exhibit strong IT skills and the ability to work well within a team.
10. Show sensitivity, tact, and diplomacy in all interactions.
