Job summary

Clayton Legal is assisting a leading regional law firm in Greater Manchester to recruit a Probate Solicitor with 3+ years' experience. You will manage your own caseload across Wills, LPAs, Probate and Estates, while developing your client base and progressing within a supportive team.

You'll work on a varied caseload, benefit from hybrid working, ongoing training, and clear opportunities for progression as you take ownership of your career in Private Client.

Qualifications

• Solicitor or qualified CILEX with at least 3 years' relevant experience.
• Strong experience across Wills, LPAs and Probate/Administration of Estates.
• Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act; Court of Protection experience is advantageous.
• STEP accreditation would be desirable.

Responsibilities

Are you a Probate Solicitor or Fee Earner with 3+ years' experience looking for a role where you can take ownership of your work, build your client base and have genuine opportunities to progress?

A leading regional law firm is looking to strengthen its Probate team in Greater Manchester, offering a varied caseload, hybrid working and the opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and established legal team.

The Role

You'll manage your own caseload and advise clients across a broad range of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and Administration of Estates, with exposure to Court of Protection matters and the Mental Capacity Act.

You'll be trusted to work independently, manage deadlines and deliver a professional, personable service, while having the backing of an experienced team around you.

What They're Looking For

• Solicitor or Qualified CILEX with at least 3 years' relevant experience
• Strong experience across Wills, LPAs and Probate/Administration of Estates
• Good knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act; Court of Protection experience is advantageous
• STEP accreditation would be desirable
• A genuine interest in developing your career within Private Client
