Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Proactive Sales Executive to support the growth of our trade customer base. The successful candidate will deliver excellent service, identify opportunities through data insights, and implement contact strategies to strengthen relationships and meet sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies targeting smaller customers, focusing on maximizing pattern book placements in the marketplace.
  • Contact customers to review performance, understand current projects, and promote collections.
  • Understand customer needs to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Secure future business through quality service and support.
  • Develop and execute a customer contact strategy using all contact tools.
  • Provide world-class customer service to maximize sales.
  • Record customer feedback and actions in CRM.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure order accuracy.
  • Follow up on communications.
  • Analyze performance data for insights.
  • Report regularly on sales performance to management.
  • Complete administrative tasks associated with the role.
  • Meet personal sales targets within the team.
  • Employ effective sales techniques to promote, upsell, and cross-sell products.

Measures of Success:

  • Achieving sales targets and year-on-year growth.
  • Managing expenditure within budgets.
  • Number of calls/emails per day.
  • Sales success aligned with budget plans.

Connecting with others:

  • Work with sales colleagues, customers, customer service, finance, and senior management to ensure performance and relationship management.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven sales experience, especially in call centers or mail order catalogues.
  • Strong business acumen and industry knowledge.
  • Experience with product knowledge and building long-term relationships.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, with positive outlook.
  • Familiarity with CRM and WG360.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
