Job summary

Hayley Dexis is seeking an Internal Sales Assistant for our Hereford branch. You will handle customer enquiries, process orders and prepare accurate quotations using MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.

The role requires a proactive, customer-service oriented candidate with prior internal sales or administrative experience. Training will be provided, with strong opportunities to upsell and add value within a busy team.

Qualifications

• Prior internal sales experience or experience within a customer service/administrative environment.
• Knowledge of MRO/Engineering products is desirable, however full training will be provided.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interest in learning our product range/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Responding to incoming enquiries and customer queries.
• Processing orders and preparing quotations; using Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
• Following up on outstanding enquiries and upselling where possible.
