Privately Owned Business - Audit Senior Manager (4672)

Due to continued growth, we are recruiting an Audit Senior Manager in our Leeds office focusing on Privately Owned Business. We have a great track record in nurturing talented graduates and school leavers. This is only the 2nd time in 17 years we are looking to recruit an Audit Manager or Audit Senior Manager externally.

The successful candidate will join a young, social, established team with significant continuity in team members and clients. This opportunity rarely arises.

Our Leeds office, with over 325 team members, is located in the heart of the bustling Leeds business district at 3 Wellington Place.

About the role

1. Lead multiple audit engagements from planning through to finalization of reports in line with agreed timescales.
2. Work closely with clients, committed to providing exceptional service.
3. Manage stakeholder relationships at audited entities and collaborate with senior staff while overseeing and developing team members.
4. Coordinate with senior leaders up to Partner level.

What are we looking for?

1. ACA / CA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualification.
2. Experience at an Audit Manager or Senior Manager level.
3. Relevant Privately Owned Business/SME sector audit experience.
4. Up-to-date technical knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102 and IFRS.
5. Experience managing external audits and leading audit teams.
6. Experience in managing, training, and coaching team members.
