Top 50 National Law Firm seeks a Private Wealth Partner or senior lawyer to launch and lead the Milton Keynes office. You will shape the regional private wealth offering, manage high-value client relationships, and drive cross-referral opportunities with a national platform.

The role combines leadership, strategic BD, and hands-on client advisory across estates, trusts, tax and cross-border matters, with an entrepreneurial, commercially minded approach.

A rare and strategic opportunity has arisen for a Private Wealth Partner (or ambitious Senior Associate/Legal Director ready to step up) to join a growing Top 50 national law firm as they launch their new office in Milton Keynes.

This is a growth-focused hire with the opportunity to help establish and shape the firm's regional Private Wealth offering. With a strong national footprint, modern infrastructure and a commercially driven culture, the firm offers an agile, forward-thinking platform designed to support ambitious lawyers with business development drive, client relationships and a desire to help shape a new office.

The Role - What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and develop the Private Wealth practice in Milton Keynes, supported by a national network across private client, tax, family, property, corporate and disputes teams.

• Advise HNW and UHNW individuals, families, business owners, entrepreneurs, trustees and family offices on:

  • Estate and succession planning

  • Trusts, tax and asset protection

  • Wills, LPAs, lifetime planning and wealth structuring

  • Cross-border estates, offshore assets and domicile/residence issues

  • Probate, estate administration and contentious trusts (if applicable)

• Develop and grow client relationships locally and nationally, with strong BD and networking ability.

• Collaborate with other departments to maximise cross-referral and full-service opportunities.

• Support recruitment, mentor junior lawyers and help build a high-calibre team.

• Represent the firm at wealth management events, private client associations and networking groups.

About You

• Established Private Wealth / Private Client Partner, or Senior Associate/Legal Director ready to step into partnership.

• Strong technical experience, ideally with exposure to complex estates, trusts, tax, HNW or cross-border matters.

• Proven business development capability, with existing client relationships or a modest following desirable.

• Entrepreneurial and commercially minded, excited by the opportunity to help shape a new office.

• Client-focused, discreet and confident in managing sensitive, high-value and long-term relationships.
