Job summary

Sellick Partnership is supporting a growing Top 50 national law firm as it launches a new Milton Keynes office by recruiting a Real Estate Partner (or ambitious Senior Associate/Legal Director) to lead the practice.

You will establish and shape the regional Real Estate presence, developing client relationships with developers, investors and lenders while collaborating with colleagues nationally to maximise cross-referrals and full-service opportunities.

• Established Real Estate Partner, or Senior Associate/Legal Director ready to step into partnership.
• Strong technical expertise across commercial property, development, investment or strategic land.
• Proven business development capability with client relationships desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Real Estate practice in Milton Keynes, supported by a national network of property, planning, construction, corporate and finance specialists.
• Advise on a broad spectrum of Real Estate matters including: Commercial property acquisitions and disposals, Development and investment projects, Strategic land, regeneration, and land promotion agreements, Landlord and tenant matters and lease negotiations, Real estate finance and secured lending.
• Develop, manage and expand client relationships across developers, investors, landowners, housebuilders, lenders and corporate occupiers.
• Collaborate with colleagues nationally to maximise cross-referrals and full-service opportunities.
• Mentor junior lawyers, help build and develop the local Real Estate team.
• Represent the firm at regional property events, networking forums and sector partnerships.

The Role - What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and grow the Real Estate practice in Milton Keynes, supported by a national network of property, planning, construction, corporate and finance specialists.
