Job summary

RBC Private Wealth in London is seeking an Associate to join our Central Services Team. The role supports processing, payments, FX, and client communications from our London office with flexibility to work remotely up to one day per week.

You will handle email triage, payments, transfers, and client inquiries while assisting with remediation projects and general administration. A banking background and customer exposure are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Client exposure and coverage experience.
• Previous banking experience and/or direct client interaction.
• Wealth management, financial services, or professional services experience.
• Payment processing or banking operations background.

Responsibilities

• Review and prioritise incoming e-mails into a shared inbox, action and file appropriately.
• Conduct telephone security call backs with clients.
• Process domestic and international payments for clients ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Process internal transfers between accounts within agreed timescales.
• Assist with the processing of foreign exchange transactions where required in a timely manner.
• Record keeping of transactions on client relationship system where required.
• Assist client coverage teams with adhoc remediation projects as and when required.
• Assist with any general administration duties as may be required.
• Ensure timely settlement of loan interest and investment fees.
• Point of contact for card and cheque enquires.
• Serve as a point of contact for the wider Private Wealth team who may need assistance with payment queries.
• Act as a point of escalation to resolve issues and elevate/report all risk events and near misses immediately.
• Support Private Wealth Business Management by identifying inefficiencies to internal processes and making appropriate recommendations to rectify them.
