Job summary

RBC Group in Cardiff is seeking a Portfolio Management Assistant on a permanent basis. You will gain hands-on experience across the wealth management lifecycle, from portfolio proposals to trade execution, in a collaborative office environment.

The role includes assisting portfolio managers, preparing client meetings, and supporting business development while adhering to procedures. Some remote flexibility up to one day per week is available.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of Wealth Management and the Financial Services sector.
• Support Portfolio Manager(s) and Wealth Manager(s) in portfolio proposals, reviews and client administration.
• Execute trades on instruction from Portfolio/Wealth Manager(s).
• Complete work according to procedures and standards.
• Collate and verify information and work.
• Assist in preparation for a new client meeting.
• Support business development through correct application of client processes.
• Assist team members and collaborate with colleagues.
