Job summary

Saffery LLP in Leeds is seeking an experienced Personal Tax Director to lead and grow the private client advisory team. You will manage complex advisory work, oversee key client relationships and coach colleagues across tax disciplines to deliver robust strategies for high-net-worth individuals and family businesses.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background across personal taxation.
• Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and family businesses.
• Proven ability to lead complex advisory projects and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify planning opportunities and oversee delivery of complex advisory projects.
• Manage tax affairs for wealthy individuals and families, focusing on entrepreneurial clients.
• Lead client meetings to discuss and implement tax advisory and compliance projects.
• Oversee WIP, billing, and recoveries for clients and projects.
• Provide technical support to the wider team and mentor junior advisers.
• Represent the firm in Leeds and the wider Yorkshire marketplace, building intermediary relationships.
