Job summary

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Private Patient Liaison Officer to support the Private Patient Unit. The role focuses on delivering a high-quality, patient-centric service, handling self-pay inquiries, booking services, and ensuring accurate pricing information is provided to patients.

Shift patterns include evenings and weekends as required. Ideal candidates will have a customer service background with NHS/private patient experience, strong communication

Qualifications

• Technical Apprenticeship/ NVQ4 in Customer Service or equivalent is required.
• GCSE level education or equivalent is required.
• Level 2 basic accounting knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for patient enquiries and bookings for Chelsea & Westminster Private Patients Unit.
• Handle self-pay enquiries from the public and maximise conversion to outpatient appointments, tests and treatments.
• Use Cerner and Compucare to validate demographics, make/change/cancel outpatient appointments and update records.
