Puro Associates is seeking a Private Family Law Solicitor to join its growing Family Department in Kenilworth. You will manage a varied private family caseload from instruction through to conclusion, delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice while upholding excellent client care.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload from instruction to conclusion.

Puro Associates are currently working with a well-established law firm that is looking to appoint a Private Family Law Solicitor to join its growing Family Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who is confident managing their own caseload and enjoys providing high-quality advice to privately funded clients.

The Role

• You will manage a varied caseload of private family matters from instruction through to conclusion, providing pragmatic and commercially focused advice while maintaining excellent standards of client care. Your responsibilities include:
• Managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
• Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients
• Conducting negotiations and corresponding with solicitors, counsel and other professionals
• Preparing court documentation, statements, applications, consent orders and other legal documents
• Instructing counsel and experts where appropriate
• Preparing matters for hearings and representing clients where appropriate
• Maintaining accurate and compliant case records
• Progressing matters efficiently and managing deadlines
• Recording time and working towards agreed financial targets
• Developing strong and lasting client relationships
• Supporting networking and business development activity
• Keeping up to date with developments in family law and legal practice
• Advise on all aspects of family law, including: divorce, private law children matters, cohabitation and separation disputes, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements and domestic abuse matters

About You

• Qualified solicitor experienced in Private Family Law
• Confident managing an independent caseload
• Technically strong across a broad range of family matters
• An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Commercially aware and focused on delivering an excellent client experience
• Comfortable working independently while contributing positively to a wider team

Advocacy experience would be advantageous, as would experience of business development, networking or supervising more junior members of a team. Membership of Resolution or a willingness to join would also be beneficial.
