Job summary

Balthazar, Covent Garden, seeks a Private Dining Room Manager to oversee private events in the dining room. 3 months contract, 40 hours per week, Tue–Sat, with availability for Christmas and New Year, and a rate £21.60–£23.19 per hour based on NMW plus tronc.

You will coordinate with culinary and service teams, manage setups and breakdowns, handle client inquiries, and uphold exceptional hospitality standards in a fast-paced environment at Caprice's iconic restaurant.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in private dining or event management within hospitality.
• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and proactive event coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of private events in the designated dining room.
• Collaborate with culinary and service teams for seamless execution.
• Oversee setup, service and breakdown of private dining spaces.
• Handle client inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive atmosphere for guests and staff.
• Assist the Restaurant Manager with health and safety and food hygiene.
