Job summary

Nationwide is seeking an Infrastructure Private Cloud Engineer to join the platform team responsible for the operational support, maintenance and continual improvement of the private cloud. The role focuses on stability, security, availability and compliance within an ITIL-aligned framework.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation and allied infrastructure technologies, with leadership responsibilities across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation and related infrastructure technologies.
• Ability to challenge existing processes and improve engineering standards.
• ITIL-aligned operating model experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support, maintenance and continuous improvement of the private cloud.
• Ensure platform stability, security, availability and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and collaborate across the platform team.
