Job summary

Nationwide is seeking an Infrastructure Private Cloud Engineer to join the platform team responsible for the private cloud's operational support, maintenance, and continuous improvement. You will help ensure stability, security, availability and compliance while enabling delivery of platform services to consumers.

The role requires hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and related infrastructure technologies, plus a proactive approach to challenging processes and guiding

Qualifications

• Ability to challenge existing processes and improve engineering standards.

Job description

The Infrastructure Private Cloud Engineer will join the platform team who are responsible for the operational support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Nationwide private cloud. Working within an ITIL-aligned operating model, the engineer will ensure platform stability, security, availability, and compliance while supporting the delivery of platform services to consumers.

The role requires operational knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and associated infrastructure technologies, combined with the ability to challenge existing processes, improve engineering standards, and provide technical leadership across the team.
