Job summary

Investigo is working with an MSP to migrate, upgrade and enhance a private cloud built on VMware across the enterprise. The role focuses on designing, delivering and modernising the private cloud stack on VMware Cloud Foundation, leading end-to-end engagements, hands-on builds, automation and migrations.

You will own VCF operations, implement NSX/vSAN workloads, and drive automation using Terraform, Ansible and PowerCLI, while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and documenting

Qualifications

• Experience with VCF design/build/operate.
• Migration experience with HCX.
• Automation with Terraform, Ansible and PowerCLI.
• Observability with monitoring tools like Aria Ops/Ops for Networks.

Responsibilities

• Produce HLD/LLD, implementation plans, and runbooks.
• Own VCF bring up, SDDC Manager config, lifecycle & compliance.
• Engineer NSX, vSAN, workload domain builds.
• VCF Operations design, config and analysis.
• Execute migrations using HCX/vMotion.
• Automate day 0/1/2 operations with Terraform, Ansible, PowerCLI.
• Enable modern workloads such as VKS and platform guardrails.

Job description

I am working very closely with an MSP who are embarking on a long term programme to help their end clients with migrating/upgrading/enhancing their private cloud which is built within VMWare so in turn looking for highly skilled cloud engineers to assist.

This role is to design, deliver and modernise enterprise private cloud on VMWare Cloud 9. You'll lead the end-to-end engagements, hands on builds, automation and migrations.

What you'll do
