Job summary

McLarens is seeking an experienced High Net Worth Loss Adjuster to join the Private Clients & Estates team covering London, the South and the Lower Midlands. You will manage a portfolio from investigation to settlement, ensuring compliance with policies, SLAs and data protection standards.

You will negotiate with brokers and insurers, produce quality reports, and actively contribute to business development while traveling across the UK as needed.

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified with significant experience in HNW loss adjusting.
• Strong negotiation, decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to develop relationships with brokers, insurers and clients and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, negotiate and settle HNW & Agriculture/Estate property claims.
• Liaise proactively with insured, insurers and brokers for timely conclusions.
• Produce quality reports in line with standards and timelines.
• Participate in McLarens’ business development and raise company profile.
• Travel within the UK to cover regions as needed.
• Presentations and client events when required.
• Ensure compliance with data protection, timelines and internal guidelines.
• Input data accurately into the claims system.
• Identify opportunities for business growth and undertake ad hoc projects.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced High Net Worth (HNW) Loss Adjuster to join our Private Clients & Estates team to cover London/South/Lower Midlands region and surrounding area.

The opportunity:

Reporting to the Regional Executive Manager, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of HNW and Agriculture/Estate property claims from investigation to settlement, ensuring company standards are met in relation to all technical and operational policies and procedures, SLAs, including data protection and information security.

Key Accountabilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• The investigation, negotiation and settlement of HNW & Agriculture/Estate property claims in a professional manner
• Proactive liaison with all stakeholders, including the insured, insurers and brokers to achieve professional and timely conclusion of claims
• The production of quality reports and other means of communication, in compliance with our professional standards and internal guidelines in accordance with agreed timescales
• Active participation in McLarens’ business development programme, building individual reputation and raising the Company profile
• Ad hoc needs to attend other areas in the UK for claims in a time of surge
• Ad hoc presentations and client events
• Adherence to compliance ie regular modules & complaint responses/resolution & timelines
• Accurate data input to claims system
• Network, identify and facilitate opportunities for business growth
• Undertaking projects and other ad hoc work as required

Experience and Qualifications

Successful candidates must be professionally qualified and have gained significant experience in the High Net Worth loss adjusting sector, demonstrating a focus on quality, communication and organisational skills. They will have proven capability in negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving, coupled with strong stakeholder management. An ability to develop strong relationships both internally and externally is imperative. A proven, positive reputation in the Broker and Insurer market would be advantageous.

Due to the geographic coverage of this role travel will be required.
