Austin Rose Associates Limited, a growing Worcestershire-based independent firm, seeks a Private Client Tax Senior Manager to lead a dedicated Private Client and Trust tax team. The role focuses on IHT, Trusts, CGT advisory, and owning client relationships with Partners.

The position offers progression toward Director/Partner, with flexible hybrid working and a strong emphasis on business development and technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Private Client and Trust tax team.
• Strong knowledge of Inheritance Tax, Trusts and CGT.
• Ability to build client relationships and drive service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Private Client + Trust Services team.
• Deliver advisory solutions on Trusts, IHT, CGT, offshore structures, and international tax.
• Oversee compliance framework for Personal and Trust Tax returns and TRS/CRS reporting.
• Engage with HMRC, advisers, and high-net-worth clients to manage complex tax risks.
• Drive business development, networking, and technical content for regional growth.
• Collaborate with Partners on recruitment, talent retention, and strategy.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities across corporate tax, wealth management, and technology.
