Job summary

Saffery LLP in Leeds seeks a tax professional to manage a portfolio of high-net-worth private clients, including trusts and non-UK domiciliaries. You will prepare tax returns, business tax and CGT computations, and respond to client queries while coordinating with HMRC.

This role offers exposure to a dedicated private client team across nine UK offices, with a hybrid working policy and a strong focus on technical excellence and client service.

Qualifications

• Experience in running day-to-day compliance affairs of a portfolio of clients reporting to a portfolio manager.
• Experience of supporting the delivery of ad hoc advisory work connected to the client.
• Ability to use their own initiative and to problem solve.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and provide accurate work in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Confident communicator to liaise with the client, intermediaries and other internal departments to gather the clients tax return information to complete their annual return.
• Excellent IT skills.
