Job summary

Saffery LLP in Leeds is seeking a skilled tax professional to manage a portfolio of high-net-worth private clients, including trusts, partnerships and non-UK domiciliaries. You will prepare tax returns and CGT computations, respond to client queries and liaise with HMRC as required.

We offer the chance to commence or complete study toward Chartered Tax Adviser, within a supportive private client team of over 120 in nine UK offices. A hybrid working policy and comprehensive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Experience managing day-to-day compliance for a portfolio of clients.
• Experience supporting ad hoc advisory work for clients.
• Ability to use initiative and solve problems.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns for high-net-worth private clients including trusts, partnerships and non-UK domiciliaries.
• Prepare business tax and CGT computations.
• Provide responses to client queries and liaise with HMRC as needed.
• Support the private client team with ongoing compliance tasks.
