TPF Recruitment Ltd in Tonbridge is seeking a Private Client Tax Manager for a respected independent practice. You’ll oversee a portfolio of private clients, primarily high net worth individuals and business owners, combining personal tax compliance with advisory work.

Qualifications

• Strong private client tax experience in an accountancy practice or specialist tax firm.
• Confidence in managing a client portfolio and reviewing personal tax work.
• Experience delivering private client tax advisory assignments.
• Ability to explain technical matters clearly and build lasting client relationships.
• Experience reviewing work and supporting colleagues’ development.
• Open to Manager or Senior Manager level or experienced Assistant Manager taking ownership of portfolio.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of 200-250 private clients and act as their main point of contact.
• Oversee personal tax compliance, reviewing returns and computations and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Advise clients on personal tax matters and work with senior colleagues on more complex planning assignments.
• Lead client meetings and identify where clients could benefit from further advice.
• Manage workloads and review colleagues’ work, providing practical feedback and technical guidance.
• Work with the directors to develop the firm’s private client tax services.
