Pro Tax in St Albans is seeking a Private Client Tax Manager/Senior Manager to lead a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, family offices, trusts, and partnerships, delivering both compliance and advisory work. The role offers a hybrid model (3 days in the office, 2 days at home) with a clear route for progression within the firm.

You will review self-assessment returns, advise on Income Tax, CGT and IHT, and support estate planning and residency planning.

Qualifications

CTA qualification required.
Strong private client tax experience within practice.
Excellent knowledge of Income Tax, CGT and Inheritance Tax.
Strong client relationship and communication skills.

Responsabilités

Manage private client tax compliance for a diverse portfolio (HNWIs, family offices, trusts, FICs).
Review self-assessment tax returns and oversee filing deadlines.
Advise on Income Tax, CGT and IHT matters.
Support advisory projects including estate planning, trusts, residency and succession planning.
Liaise with HMRC on enquiries and disclosures.
Attend client meetings and identify planning opportunities.
Manage budgets, billing and client relationships.
Support and develop junior team members.
