Job summary

Clark Wood are recruiting a Private Client Tax Manager/Senior Manager in St Albans. The role focuses on managing a Private Client Tax portfolio for high-net-worth clients with significant advisory exposure alongside Partners. You will handle IHT planning, trusts, residence issues and complex personal tax matters.

The position offers senior responsibility, direct Partner exposure and opportunities to lead and develop the team in a growing practice.

Qualifications

• CTA qualified with strong Private Client Tax background
• Experience with high-net-worth client portfolios
• Advisory experience across Inheritance Tax, CGT and trusts

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of HNW Private Client Tax clients
• Review Self-Assessment tax returns and oversee annual compliance
• Provide advisory support on IHT, residence, trusts and pension planning
• Collaborate with Partners on complex advisory assignments
• Develop junior staff and contribute to departmental meetings
• Support business development and client relationship management
