Job summary

Sumer Group is seeking a Tax Manager for Private Client to join our Personal Tax team across Brighton/Crawley/Chichester offices. The role focuses on private client tax advisory and compliance work, handling a portfolio of high-net-worth clients.

Training and support will be provided to develop expertise in private client taxation. CTA qualification is preferred, with ACA/ACCA or ATT considered for relevant experience.

Qualifications

• ProvenPrivate Client Tax experience in a tax advisory or compliance role.
• Experience handling high-net-worth client portfolios and related planning.
• Familiar with private client tax compliance and advisory work.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of private client tax assignments and client meetings.
• Prepare technical analyses and tax advice with senior input.
• Oversee annual tax returns and related compliance work.
• Identify technical issues and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with partners and directors on complex matters.
