Job summary

Crowe Watson Recruitment is supporting a well-established Chartered Accountants firm in Chichester to recruit an Assistant Manager into their Private Client Tax team. You will manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, including HNWIs, trusts and partnerships, while building strong client relationships with Partners and Directors.

Qualifications

• ATT/CTA qualified (or qualified by experience) with strong private client tax knowledge.
• Experience in UK Practice environment.
• Proven portfolio management and ability to review others' work.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Strong knowledge of current UK tax legislation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of private client tax matters, including HNWIs, trusts, and partnerships.
• Review tax returns and computations prepared by junior team members.
• Provide tax planning advice on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and income tax matters.
• Mentor junior staff and support technical development.
• Liaise with clients and HMRC on complex tax queries.
