Clark Wood - Tax Recruitment is assisting in the search for a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager in Chichester. Hybrid working with three days in the office and two from home offers a solid pathway for progression toward Manager and beyond.

You will manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, handling personal tax compliance and advisory work, while developing leadership experience and direct client contact. Training and progression are clearly mapped.

Qualifications

• Experience in Private Client Tax compliance with advisory exposure.
• Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and review work.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of private clients and act as primary contact.
• Prepare and review private client tax compliance work.
• Deliver Private Client Tax advisory assignments and identify planning opportunities.
• Attend client meetings and develop strong client relationships.
• Work with Partners and Directors across service lines and support complex advisory projects.
• Review work of junior team members and provide guidance on day-to-day tax issues.
• Oversee workflow, deadlines, WIP and client billing and keep up to date with HMRC guidance.
