Job summary

Forvis Mazars in London is seeking an Assistant Manager for Private Client Tax Disputes. You will support the Partner and Associate Director to deliver high quality client service and contribute to divorce or professional negligence matters.

The role includes preparing tax advisory reports and fee budgets, and building external networks with law firms. You will work with a team focused on private client tax advisory and disputes, with opportunities to broaden involvement across transactions,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in personal tax compliance or advisory roles.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA / ACCA / ATT / STEP and CTA, or equivalent.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Partner and Associate Director to deliver high quality client service in Private Client Tax Disputes cases.
• Prepare proposals and fee budgets for new enquiries.
• Prepare tax advisory and expert witness reports in line with court or other client deadlines.
• Build relationships with key law firm intermediary contacts to develop an external network.
