Qualifications

• CTA qualification or equivalent professional credential.
• Experience at Director/Partner or senior level in a professional services environment.
• Strong private client tax advisory experience with practical, high‑quality advice.
• Track record of managing client portfolios and developing long‑term relationships.
• Experience overseeing engagements: scope, budgeting, workflow and delivery.
• Commercial acumen with proactive business development and revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Act as the principal tax relationship contact for a portfolio of clients.
• Oversee delivery of client engagements, allocate work and meet deadlines.
• Set scopes of work and budgets with clients before work begins.
• Monitor engagement progress and maintain client/internal stakeholder communications.
• Ensure work aligns with scopes, budgets, quality standards and procedures.
• Lead business development to support revenue targets and cross-sell tax services.
• Identify opportunities to expand tax offerings within existing relationships.
• Mentor colleagues to deliver high-quality tax advice and maintain standards.
• Contribute to the growth of the tax practice through technical leadership.
