Job summary

AAB, a leading professional services firm, is seeking a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager in Leeds. The role sits in the Private Client Advisory department and is permanently based in-office.

You will join a team delivering tax advisory services across UHNW/HNW individuals, partnerships, trusts, and estates, reporting to the Head of Tax Advisory. As Assistant Manager, you will lead by example, mentor junior staff, drive business development, and liaise with other units to grow client

Qualifications

• Essential: professional tax qualification or equivalent experience.
• Post-qualification experience in a tax advisory role.
• Ability to undertake independent technical research.
• Good knowledge of Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Support advisory services to private clients as a key contact.
• Assist with inheritance tax planning, succession planning, capital gains tax, trusts, and international tax advice.
• Follow AAB Tax Advisory processes and use workflow tools; maintain client data and timesheets.
