An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor or CILEX to join a modern, multi-service law firm based in Bedford. Our client was formed more than 40 years ago and has an increasing number of clients attracted by their skills and commitment to service. Their satisfied clients have enabled significant growth over the years.

The person appointed will:

• Be qualified with a minimum of two and up to four years’ post-qualification experience in Private Client work (Solicitor or CILEX);
• Have essential experience in drafting and dealing with Wills, LPAs, and the administration of straightforward estates with minimal supervision;
• Experience with trusts, tax, HNW, or Court of Protection work is advantageous;
• Progress towards STEP qualification is a plus but not essential;
• Be conscious of the need to build relationships to develop the Private Client Department;

The appointed person must:

• Have excellent organisational skills;
• Proven ability to work to deadlines;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members;
• Be personable with good interpersonal skills;
• Possess good IT skills, preferably with experience on case management systems;

Salary and benefits:
